We offer development specific services as part of Storytelling’s commitment to developing relationships with both established and emerging storytellers.
As consultants we work closely with writers, directors and producers to get the most out of their stories. Our services are available at any stage of the story’s development, whether you’re working with an idea, treatment, first draft, final draft, or even if you are in production, we can assist.
THE NEXT DRAFT (Script Report)
A detailed script report covering both story elements and feasibility elements of your script.

THE NEXT DRAFT "INTENSIVE" (Script Report)
A detailed script report covering story elements (craft and Structure) and feasibility elements of your script, plus a two hour face to face session with your script editor (If you live out of state we will organise an online session), plus correspondence with your script editor. Open to story at any stage of it's development.

We also have consultants that specialise in digital effects, animation and storyboarding. People who are open to new and creative ways of telling stories.
DRAMATURGY
"The craft or the techniques of dramatic composition."
Dramitists combine writing and dramaturgy when creating a play, shaping a story or elements into a form that can be acted. Dramaturgy gives the work or the performance a structure.
Dramaturgy is available for playwrights, screenwriters and directors at any stage of development or production.

FUNDING APPLICATIONS
If you need help with a funding application or budget we have consultants specialising in film, television or theatre who can help. Whether it's AFC, FTO, Film Vic or a government grant chances are one of our consultants has been through the application process or has had contact with the people involved.

READINGS
Story Telling hosts a variety of public and private readings of emerging and established writer's work. These readings can be used to develop and showcase projects and are a good oportunity for writers to network with actors, directors, producers and agents. It's a great chance for everyone involved to get together and celebrate the stories we're developing and the writers who create them.
